 | IMPLEMENTATION Alfa Laval SaniMidget uses little amounts of cleaning fluid at low pressure, and thus can replace conventional fixed washing head with an effective washing technology. The head, which is compatible for hygienic applications, can be used for tanks from 0.1 to 10m3. Dimensions/options are available in the CAS program which is used for tank cleaning equipment of Alfa Laval. OPERATION PRINCIPLE The flow of the cleaning fluid rotates the Alfa Laval SaniMidget head, and fan-shaped jets create a pattern that turns like a vortex everywhere inside the tank. This creates a vibrating impact and a gradual flow that covers all internal surfaces of the reactor. Automatic cleaning function of the device is ensured by passing the cleaning fluid through the rotary seat line and directing it to the neck of the extended head.
