IMPLEMENTATION Alfa Laval ThinkTop® control head has been designed to ensure optimum valve control when used with butterfly, single seat and Mixproof valves and is compatible with all major PLC systems (Programmable Logic Control Systems with PNP/NPN Interface). It is used for food, dairy, beverage and pharmaceutical applications. OPERATION PRINCIPLE ThinkTop® is a control head with indication units and a solenoid valve that is used to control any process valve. It is used to control and manage pneumatic valves and installed on the valve. It receives signals to control the valve from the PLC system and sends feedback signal to the PLC system to indicate the position of the valve. The user installs the ThinkTop® using the remote control (separately ordered) or the buttons on the head to adapt the sensor card to a specific valve or application. Demounting the top unit is not necessary if a remote control is used. | |||
