OPERATION PRINCIPLES

Manual SSV Single Seat Valve is a setting valve used to manually control pressure and flow rate. Valves can be gradually opened and consist of robust parts that can be replaced and installed very easily. Valves can ben fixed in its set location.

  The table on the left is m3/h for a pressure difference of Kv=1 bar.
  If the pressure difference is more than 1 bar, the flow rate can be calculated using the formula below.
  Q=Kv x √Δp
  Q = flow in m3/h. Kv= look left. p = Pressure decrease in the valve
  Assuming Kv: 75, Δp=2 bar has been calculated: Q= 75 x √2 = 106 m3/h
  Or if the valve is opened by 50%: Q= 0.5 x 75 x √2 = 53 m3/h

Valves are directly proportional.
If we slightly tighten the valve, we see that the pressure difference remains fixed while flow rate decreases at the same rate.
